Quilter Investors to expand successful Cirilium range with new portfolios
Quilter Investors is today announcing plans to expand the Cirilium multi-asset investment range with the addition of new portfolios giving further choice and flexibility to customers and advisers.
Quilter Investors is one of the fastest growing multi-asset investment businesses in the UK and manages more than £19 billion. The successful Cirilium range last year celebrated its ten year anniversary and is one of the most successful retail investment solutions in the UK, outperforming its IA peer group across the range.
Managed by portfolio manager Paul Craig for over a decade, the portfolios have pioneered a risk-targeted approach to investment management, aiming to give customers and advisers reassurance and certainty over how their investments can be expected to behave through a variety of market conditions.
Later this year, and subject to regulatory approval, Quilter Investors will expand the Cirilium stable of investment solutions with new portfolios to complement the existing Cirilium Active and Passive range. The new portfolios will combine the benefits of an actively managed portfolio solution, while offering the flexibility to hold passive underlying exposure.
The portfolios will be managed by Paul Craig, handing the star manager an additional mandate following more than a decade successfully managing the Cirilium range.
Further details will be announced later this year, with a number of portfolios to be offered across different risk levels. The launch is anticipated in Q2-Q3 2019, with further details of the proposition development to be announced over the summer.
It is the second major new portfolio solution under development to be announced by Quilter Investors this year. At the beginning of the year, the company revealed the appointment of Helen Bradshaw as portfolio manager to spearhead the forthcoming Quilter Investors multi-asset income range. Further details of the new income portfolios will be set out in the coming weeks.
Quilter Investors chief commercial officer, Dean Bowden, says:
“We have made huge progress since establishing Quilter Investors in 2018 as a new business with a complete rebrand and the appointment of a new Exco and leadership team. Today marks another huge milestone as we announce the forthcoming expansion of one of the most successful multi-asset investment solutions in the UK.
“Paul has an exceptional track record in delivering for customers and advisers over the long-term and we’re absolutely delighted to be able to have him lead this next phase in Cirilium’s development.
“This is the second major investment solution under development that we have announced this year and illustrates the rapid progress this company is making. I look forward to sharing further details on both the income range and the Cirilium extension in the coming weeks.”
Cirilium portfolio manager, Paul Craig, says:
“When we developed and launched Cirilium over ten years ago, it was a pioneer of the risk-targeted investment philosophy. It is now a leader in the market, with the strategy myself and the investment team have been able to deploy delivering excellent long-term returns.
“This is a really exciting time for the business and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to manage all the Cirilium portfolios through this next step in their evolution.”
